My love for event organisation and qualification in teaching has taken me on a journey that I never expected. After 13 years in the WA secondary Education system, I pivoted my focus and started my own business offering “pop-up wedding ceremonies”. This soon morphed into ceremony and reception packages, and then into full service planning. Not long into that, a role emerged as a Wedding Coordinator at a Fremantle venue, and the rest, as they say, is history…..

To me, the organisation of weddings and events is like a big jigsaw puzzle. I love the challenge of pulling it all together - aligning a couples’ vision within the parameters of what’s possible.

Time in both industries has given me a solid understanding of the benefit of efficient and effective systems and processes, and knowledge of working with compliance and legislation.

What has stood out over time, is by far the importance of human connection as a vessel to deliver exceptional service. Now more than ever, people are craving human interaction and want to be heard. It really has become a rarity, so when it is received, the impact is significant.

All of the lessons I have learnt and the skills I have developed has led me to where I am today - passionate about helping others with their business and in love with helping couples create timeless memories.
